Admission is open to all applicants who meet the minimum criteria regardless of background. The following enrolment rules apply:
Assessment is carried out in real workplace environments in approved public or private Nursery and Primary Schools — ensuring genuine, relevant conditions for every learner.
Assessors observe trainees directly in practice — evaluating their real competency in live early years settings with real children.
Verbal or written Q&A sessions to verify understanding of theory, policy, and professional knowledge underpinning each competency area.
Evidence gathered from employers, supervisors, or colleagues who can verify a trainee's competent performance in the workplace.
Trainees maintain reflective journals and submit critical reflections on their own practice — demonstrating professional growth and self-awareness.
Written or practical assignments assessing knowledge, understanding, and application of ECE principles, standards, and real-world contexts.
Trainees with existing relevant experience or qualifications may have prior learning formally recognised as part of their assessment pathway.
A minimum of 80% attendance is required for successful completion of all courses. Trainees are expected to actively participate in all in-person sessions, online modules, and field placements.
Where personal circumstances may affect attendance, trainees are encouraged to contact the centre early so that reasonable support arrangements can be explored together.
